Dartmouth, Nova Scotia \u2014 March 16, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS), a global maritime intelligence company today announced continued progress in its growth strategy and product commercialization through two repayable contributions from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) under the Regional Development and Innovation Infrastructure (RDII) program.<\/p>

The first contribution is supporting facility expansion and workforce growth to help GSTS address key skills gaps, expand product development capacity, and pursue emerging defence opportunities. The second is supporting the continued development and commercialization of OCIANA<\/strong>, GSTS\u2019 AI-driven maritime vessel-management platform for defence, security, and supply chain applications.<\/p>

These projects mark an important step in scaling GSTS\u2019 operations and accelerating its ability to bring advanced maritime intelligence solutions to market.<\/p>

OCIANA combines satellite and sensor data with advanced AI to deliver enhanced maritime domain awareness and support faster, better-informed decision-making. Continued investment in the platform is strengthening its commercial readiness and expanding its value across mission-critical use cases.<\/p>

\u201cThese projects help move GSTS forward at an important stage in our growth,\u201d said Richard Kolacz, CEO of GSTS<\/strong>. \u201cThe support from ACOA is enabling us to expand our capabilities, strengthen our team, and accelerate the commercialization of OCIANA to meet growing market demand in defence, maritime security, and supply chain visibility.\u201d<\/p>

OCIANA is fully operational today, providing valuable intelligence capability to Canada, NATO members and other Five Eyes nations.<\/p>

GSTS noted that one of the supported projects is connected to an Ocean Supercluster<\/strong> initiative, reflecting broader innovation ecosystem support around the company\u2019s technology and its maritime supply chain applications. In this capacity, the platform is also used by ports, shipping companies and pilotage authorities to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.<\/p>

Dartmouth (Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse), le 16 mars 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS), une entreprise mondiale sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans le renseignement maritime, a annonc\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui de nouveaux progr\u00e8s dans sa strat\u00e9gie de croissance et la commercialisation de ses produits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 deux contributions remboursables de l\u2019Agence de promotion \u00e9conomique du Canada atlantique (APECA) dans le cadre du programme d\u2019Infrastructure de d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9gional et d\u2019innovation (IDRI).<\/p>

La premi\u00e8re contribution soutient l\u2019agrandissement des installations et la croissance des effectifs afin d\u2019aider GSTS \u00e0 combler d\u2019importantes lacunes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences, \u00e0 accro\u00eetre sa capacit\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement de produits et \u00e0 poursuivre de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s dans le secteur de la d\u00e9fense. La seconde contribution appuie la poursuite du d\u00e9veloppement et de la commercialisation d\u2019OCIANA,<\/strong> la plateforme de gestion du trafic maritime propuls\u00e9e par l\u2019IA de GSTS, destin\u00e9e aux applications li\u00e9es \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense, \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et aux cha\u00eenes d\u2019approvisionnement.<\/p>

Ces projets repr\u00e9sentent une \u00e9tape importante dans l\u2019expansion des activit\u00e9s de GSTS et acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 mettre sur le march\u00e9 des solutions avanc\u00e9es de renseignement maritime.<\/p>

OCIANA combine des donn\u00e9es satellitaires et des donn\u00e9es issues de capteurs avec des capacit\u00e9s avanc\u00e9es d\u2019IA afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la connaissance du domaine maritime et de soutenir une prise de d\u00e9cision plus rapide et mieux \u00e9clair\u00e9e. Les investissements continus dans la plateforme renforcent son niveau de pr\u00e9paration commerciale et \u00e9largissent sa valeur dans des applications essentielles aux missions critiques.<\/p>
